The risible scumbags behind it, including Mr. Schumer, have a mile-long rapsheet of civil-liberties abuses, including the PATRIOT Act, RIAA hackery, trying to ban pre-paid cellphones, drones at the border, etc. The only reason we're talking about this joke of a proposal, the NSTIC, is because FBI/CIA has the ear of our politicians, and they don't care what we have to say about it.
