		<description>I tend to have a mixed strategy.  This can be anything from skipping coffee every once in awhile to delaying a big ticket item like an HDTV.  It&#039;s worked for me so far but it doesn&#039;t give the structured system that some people might like.</description>

		<description>I tend to focus on the big ticket items, although I freely admit I probably should focus on everyday purchases, too.  My wife is great with the day to day penny pinching, which helps us a lot.  But one thing we always avoid is consumer debt.  We borrow for our home and education, and that&#039;s it.</description>
