I’m glad that even people who think the internet is dead for side hustles still go online for personal finance ideas! I guess it goes to show that everyone has their own thoughts as to what makes a good side hustle. For some it’s ease and speed, while some focus purely on the profit; for others, it’s more about earning money from something they enjoy so much they probably would’ve done it for free!

Most of these hustles are old. When the job market was great in this country, there were many people doing this. Now that the economy has tanked for such a long period of time, too many people are saturating the hustle scene. Let me be blunt. The only real money anyone can make is to come up with several hustles that require very little time because- well, there is only 24 hours in a day. Stop trying to find hustle ideas on the internet; millions of people see the same thing folks. The true hustle come to you from watching the needs out there and filling them. I have several that I run everyday. Make good money at it, too. The internet is dead for ideas. Go old school with a new age twist finding something. Good luck.

You could try to be a Virtual Assistant, if you have some time on your hand. Another way a co-worker made money online was to sell, Gucci bags and Calvin Klien bedsheets on Amazon. She had a great eye for a deals and according to her, her customers were people from rural america who did not even have a walmart anywhere near them.

Don’t forget you can make money off yourself by little savings here and there. Here are some of the easy savings wins I just accomplished:
Cancelled HBO, which we hardly watch anymore ($10 month / $120 year)
Switched our phone and Internet to Comcast ($40 month / $480 year!)
Reduced our childcare by 3 hours per week ($150 month / $1,800 year!)

At first, these might seem like small savings, but I always like to show my clients how savings ad up over time. I’m saving $2,500 this year for three small changes that I’m not even going to notice. Cool! If you’re gonna hustle for money, you might as well start with yourself!
