A friend of mine had asked if she could borrow money from me ($50) for her medication. After telling her that I can only lend her in 2 weeks time, she was okay with that, and I was left wondering how urgent her health issue was that she had to borrow money but can afford to buy time. I don't plan on asking her about that and I'm gearing myself for the possibility that it's going to be a gift in the end. Such timing finding this post of yours.
