		<description>Call me old fashioned or call me stupid. After the last boom/bust real estate cycle, I had two rental units (condos) which were selling for $20k each, and I still owed over $40k on each one. To ad insult to injury the tenants in both were late on their rent by months and the judge let them stay as long as they made partial payments. I worked for two years just to pay them down and as the value came back, I dumped them, and the bank got 100% of their money. Never considered bankruptcy. (One tenant filed, though, and left me owing 6 month&#039;s rent)
