I&#039;ve had phishing emails from eBay before, and right after I got them (I sent them back to eBay asking if they were for real), eBay issued a member-wide email stating that they will never ask you to give them personal information through email and the suspicious emails should be forwarded to them or ignored. They said that they will only let you change the information in your account by going to the website and logging in and changing it yourself. I&#039;ve received similar emails from Amazon.com, the IRS and PayPal - so in many cases the companies are trying to protect you and keep your trust :) I like that they&#039;re aware of phishing and taking action to inform their customers.</description>
