This is a good series, but I can&#039;t agree with some of your suggestions, such as giving up a car.  Not all of us live in a city where public transportation is reliable.  I do, however live in a city where we have public transportation, but it is very slow and I&#039;d lose around 2 hours out of my day taking it.  Then you have to start weighing money vs time with family?  It makes it really hard.

I do agree that you should pay your mortgage or rent (not all of us own homes yet) first.  You definately want to have a place to live.</description>
